Here is an example of the type of binding that I would like the final outcome to have, this may not be on the mock outcome.

Even though this layouts have portraits worked within the food photography. These layouts contain food photography, showing the outcomes of the food and the preparation of the food. However, the food is presented in a way in which it is a part of a recipe book without the recipes.

 

 

Some of these double page layouts work well and can be used as inspiration for my final outcome.

This is an interesting way of presenting my food photography, maybe instead of making an actual book, but multiple little packages containing the images of different food and their preparation as well as the outcomes.

Peach Fruit Fool

This photo shoot was also inspired by the artist Sarka Babicka.

I think that the majority of this shoot worked well, However next time I plan to look more at the colours in the background and how they link in with the colours of the food. Also I plan to create more contrast between the background and the main subject, but by coordinating with the colours.

Chocolate Mouse, with Crushed Honeycomb

 

This Photo Shoot was also inspired by Sarka Babicka.

 

 

For this shoot I didn't do preparation photos of the chocolate mouse, so there are only the final outcomes. These images are also unedited as I think that they have worked really well. They are in the style of the work by Sarka Babicka who does more contemporary food photography.

Vanilla and Chocolate Parfait

 

This shoot was inspired by Sarka Babicka.

I think that this shoot worked well, however what I plan to do maybe better next time would be to colour co-ordinate the background colours and the colours of the food more, making the images more interesting.

This shoot worked well because of the contrast in the colours between the different elements of the food, also the composition of the images are quite strong making them more intriguing and attractive.
